“YOUNG BLACK THUGS” are TERRORIZING U.S.!
Three men have each been accused of one count of terrorizing after an incident early Tuesday morning on the campus of the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
ULM police arrested Micheal D. Andrade, 19, of 1004 N. Broad St., New Orleans; Jerrick Avery Jones, 18, of 3905 Bradshaw Road, Grand Cane; and Elijah Reed Walker, 19, of 5210 Norgete Drive, New Orleans, at 3 a.m. at the Madison Hall dormitory.
According to an affidavit, two victims contacted police in reference to multiple males who had approached them outside Shultz Cafeteria in an older Ford Mustang. The victims said the group of males began to scream “Get them, get them now.”
The victims ran to their vehicle and locked the doors. However, police said, the keys were left in the trunk lock. One victim exited the vehicle to retrieve the keys when she said the Mustang returned with its lights off and the males screaming to “get them now.”
Multiple units responded and made contact with the trio.
Andrade and Walker admitted to being in the vehicle that was driven by Jones. All three claimed the incident was a joke as they didn’t know either of the victims.
Police then arrested Andrade, Jones and Walker.
ULM officials released the following statement Tuesday evening: “The university is looking into possible disciplinary actions at this time, and the investigation is still ongoing.”
