Mark Traina wants to pull down the curtain of Political Correctness and shed light on the Real Problems facing U.S. here in the Great State of Louisiana. In recent years, America has allowed itself to become a Nation of Co-Dependents and Political Conspirators. We are no longer able to openly express our distaste for Lesbian and Gay Lifestyles, inter-racial marriages and relationships, identify the perpetrators of crime in our communities, violence in our schools and/or political corruption. As an ole Substance Abuse Counselor I know that the very first step to solving a problem is to first admit that a problem exists and that seems to be something that Americans seem no longer capable of doing. FACT: I recently saw the major motion picture "FLIGHT", in that movie Denzel Washington masterfully and gracefully put a face on the single biggest problems facing America today, "POLYSUBSTANCE ABUSE"! What a performance and a Plot! The biggest problem facing America today is the so-called “Great American Drug Epidemic”. An epidemic that actually enslaves American Families tears at the very core of the American Value System. Drug addiction is like a Cancerous Sore that is eating away at the very fabric of Americas’ core existence. Drugs my dear Friends is the Culprit and leading cause of the breakdown of the American Family, crime in our Communities and poor performance and lack of achievement in our schools. When I speak of Drug Abuse, I am speaking about both prescribed and illegally obtained Drugs. In seems as though, we as a Nation are no longer “Under “GOD”, but rather,“Under the Influence of Drugs. FACT: America is starting to come apart at the seams. We as a Nation have been in denial far too long. It’s time to “Stand Up” America for America! As the late great Michael Jackson would sing, it is time for U.S. as a Nation to,“Take a Look at ourselves and make the Change”! We need to make the Changes that are so desperately needed for our very survival! FACT: America needs Treatment if she is to Survive! We as a Nation are currently on Life Support, if we don't make some "CHANGES" soon it may become too late for U.S. to save ourselves. Stand up for America and stand with me I want to be the next Governor of Louisiana and I want to make some Legitimate Changes, Changes for the better, Changes for the good for our Communities, our State and this Nation that we all Love. Shreveport and Natchitoches they too are roughly on the edges of Louisiana. PSS: Additionally, we need to STOP building Bridges that lead to “No Where” and STOP borrowing money from China before they force all of U.S. to learn how to speak Chinese and eat with Chop Sticks!
