A 21-year-old man from Omaha,
Nebraska, was fatally shot in the neck Thursday night while trying to defend a
woman during a party after a Miley Cyrus concert.

gravely wounded at a private home near Ida Street in the early hours of Friday
morning.
The 21-year-old was rushed to Creighton University Hospital, where he succumbed

gunfire erupted at around 2.45am following an altercation between some of the
guests.

come outside. When the woman refused, the man grabbed her by the hair and
dragged her.
