AMERICANS move one-step closer to IMPEACHING PRESIDENT OBAMA in June of 2014!

The charge that President Obama has committed “high crimes and misdemeanors” and should be impeached because of the deal he arranged to set free five top Taliban leaders in exchange for an American soldier whose behavior is under investigation is gaining traction.
Lots of traction.
Including a request from a former member of Congress, Allen West, to current House Speaker John Boehner and others “to draft articles of impeachment as no one is above the law in America.”
“I call upon the leadership of the U.S. House of Representatives; Speaker John Boehner, Majority Leader Eric Cantor, Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi to draft articles of impeachment,” West wrote Tuesday.
West argues Obama signed into law only months ago the National Defense Authorization Act, which makes it a crime against the nation to offer or provide any material support to terror groups.
The problem was explained by Fox News judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano, who supported West’s opinion.
“We have a federal statute which makes it a felony to provide material assistance to any terrorist organization. It could be money, maps, professional services, any asset whatsoever, include human assets,” he said.
Napolitano argues it is likely the five terrorist leaders will rejoin the campaign against the United States, which constitutes material support.
Just a day ago, Andrew McCarthy, the former federal prosecutor who brought the evidence that convicted perpetrators of the first Islamic terror bombing of New York’s World Trade Center, said Obama likely broke the federal law against supporting terror.
The definitive case for removing Barack Obama from office is presented in “Impeachable Offenses” by Aaron Klein and Brenda J. Elliott.
Transferring the five terrorists to Qatar in exchange for the release of Bergdahl “violates the law against material support to terrorism,” Andrew McCarthy told the the Daily Mail of London.
McCarthy was assistant U.S. attorney in New York. He led the 1995 prosecution of Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman and nearly a dozen others charged with the bombing, which failed to bring down the towers but killed six and injured more than a thousand.
West wrote Tuesday that Obama used an Article 2 signing statement to deem unconstitutional a measure he had signed into law contained in the National Defense Authorization Act.
“The law stated that he must advise Congress within 30 days about any plans to transfer detainees from Gitmo,” West wrote. “Obama basically stated that this was ‘unconstitutional’ and that his unilateral action fell within his purview. Once again Obama used selective discretion as to what law he feels he must adhere to — in this case it has severe ramifications for our national security.”
He said the five Guantanamo Bay detainees “were senior Taliban officials, basically members of Mullah Omar’s inner circle.”
“This is aiding and abetting the enemy, which goes along with the collusion of this administration with Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated organizations and supplying weapons and arms to Islamists,” West wrote. “Obama just released the leadership of a terrorist organization, and what did we get in return? A deserter, who by his own self-proclamation harbors anti-American sentiments – which it seems that Susan Rice, our esteemed national security adviser, didn’t even realize his heinous actions – or maybe as usual she just lied about it again.
“Ladies and gentlemen, I submit that Barack Hussein Obama’s unilateral negotiations with terrorists and the ensuing release of their key leadership without consult – mandated by law – with the U.S. Congress represents high crimes and misdemeanors, an impeachable offense.”

The Wall Street Journal reports Bergdahl has yet to call his family despite the fact he has been given the opportunity as he recovers from minor health issues that arose during his time in captivity. An unnamed U.S. official confirmed the report, noting that Bergdahl’s sister sent him a letter to which he has declined to respond.

According to reports, officials are prepared to return him to America to continue his recovery. Aside from gum and skin maladies, he is apparently in good health overall and is not malnourished. This report stands in apparent contrast to the Obama administration’s claim that immediate action was necessary to facilitate his release amid reports that his health had significantly declined.

Traitor Bowe Bergdahl Linked To Michael Hastings Murder

At the time Rolling Stone reporter Michael Hastings was killed under suspicious circumstances, he had recently written a huge exposé on Bowe Bergdahl, revealing that he had deserted his unit and actively sought out the Taliban. Hastings had also revealed Bergdahl’s anti-American sentiments, publishing the emails to his father that so shocked America: “I am ashamed to be an American…The horror that is America is disgusting.”

This revelation actually came in July of 2012, when Hastings published a ten-thousand word article on Bergdahl, in which he had traveled to Afghanistan to speak to his former platoon mates, the soldiers violating their gag order to speak to Hastings anonymously. Hastings had also visited Bergdahl’s parents in Idaho, where he presumably obtained the emails. When we saw Obama pawing Bowe Bergdahl’s mother and hugging his father last week in the White House Rose Garden, this wasn’t how he was treating them in 2012. The Obama administration in 2012 had “encouraged” his parents to keep their mouths shut. The father, Robert Bergdahl, had gone on a very public crusade, criticizing the Obama administration for killing Afghanistan civilians, and had even said that one of the Taliban captors of his son had had his child murdered by a CIA drone—mirroring events in the popular Showtime series “Homeland”. This was stated at a very public GOP fundraising event in 2010 hosted by former RNC head Michael Steele. Robert Bergdahl had also just posted a video on YouTube, where he appealed directly to this son’s captors, stating: “…We must also thank those who have cared for our son for almost two years…We have wept that God may show his beneficence, his mercy and that his peace may come upon the people of Pakistan. As-salamu alaykum [peace be upon you].”

The United
States Constitution gives no authority to the federal government over
education. In fact, since education is not listed as an enumerated power within
the authority of the federal government, by law, the authority of education is
left in the hands of state and local governments. But, that has not stopped the
federal government from attempting to get their grubby hands all over the
education of youth.

school board member, tired of me and unwilling to fight the
Common Core monster, advised me to do what she does: focus on the positive
parts of Common Core. Be an optimist, she said.

“The positive
parts? –You mean the lies?” I thought, because I’ve not

parts.

There are lots
of those– the Common Core advertisements, the school board’s website
promotions and newspaper quotes.

To the
non-researcher, the Common Core sounds completely positive–
but this “initiative” turns out to be very bad when the naked facts are revealed, about how it’s controlled, whom it pays off and what it robs.

Because the
smiling board member knew many of these unsavory facts that she wished not
to know, her advice reminded me of the part in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde when Dr. Jekyll tells
Utterton not to worry about Mr. Hyde. How illogical,
dangerous and self-defeating. But to some, it seems that being
an optimist requires putting ourselves at the mercy of bullies
and pretending to agree to things that are clearly not so.

This
conversation exposed the wide gap between the pretty surface language
versus the ugly facts under the belly of Common Core.
