SOCIOECONOMIC IMPACT of BATON ROUGE and ST GEORGE split!

BATON ROUGE has experienced massive WHITE FLIGHT over the past 4-DECADES due to ILLEGAL DRUGS, VIOLENT CRIME, PUBLIC CORRUPTION, DIRE POVERTY, ENTITLEMENT LIFESTYLERS, FAILING SCHOOLS and GANGS! A large portion of EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH has recently split from the CITY of BATON ROUGE and is now incorporated as the newest CITY in LOUISIANA.

ST GEORGE has its own MAYOR, CITY COUNCIL, POLICE FORCE, SCHOOL DISTRICT, MAIL SERVICE, TRASH and SEWAGE SERVICES. In the mean time BATON ROUGE has continued its downward spiral. ILLEGAL DRUGS, VIOLENT CRIME, PUBLIC CORRUPTION, DIRE POVERTY, ENTITLEMENT LIFESTYLERS, FAILING SCHOOLS and GANGS plague THE RED STICK! Thus far, ST GEORGE is holding its own with better schools, safer and cleaner city streets, no publc corruption and a thriving economy. On a sidenote, every major CITY in the STATE OF LOUISIANA is in decline plagued by all the exact same SOCIOECONOMIC CHALLENGES as BATON ROUGE.
