2 Men Stabbed in Possible N.Y.C. Hate Crime After Suspect Allegedly Yelled ‘Allahu Akbar! Two men were stabbed in separate attacks on Manhattan’s Upper West Side and are expected to survive. Police arrested Raul Morales, 51, after a bystander followed him and alerted authorities to his location Investigators are evaluating the stabbings as potential hate crimes amid rising hate crime rates in New York City. Two men were stabbed in separate attacks on Manhattan’s Upper West Side on Thursday afternoon in what police are investigating as a possible hate crime after the suspect allegedly yelled "Allahu Akbar" — Arabic for "God is greatest" — during both assaults. The suspect, identified by the New York Police Department as 51-year-old Raul Morales, was arrested shortly after the attacks, which occurred about two blocks apart around 1:30 p.m. According to NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch, detectives are still working to determine a motive. One victim is Asian and the other is Jewish, she said, and the department is evaluating whether the stabbings should be classified as hate crimes. The victims were identified by The New York Times as 57-year-old Chok Sung and 50-year-old Moshe Yezhak Grunhaus. Both men were taken to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital and are expected to survive. Police said Morales first approached Sung near West 84th Street and Central Park West, where he allegedly stabbed him in the back with a knife. He then walked several blocks north, where authorities say he stabbed Grunhaus in the torso with a screwdriver near West 86th Street and Amsterdam Avenue. Morales was arrested at a nearby apartment building after someone followed him and alerted police. Witnesses told the New York Daily News the person was a UPS delivery driver who tailed the suspect after the attacks. “I want to commend the bravery of a bystander who led our officers to the location where the perpetrator was hiding, as well as our NYPD cops who brought an end to the incident without further injuries,” Tisch said. “We must remain united in condemning antisemitism and ensuring those responsible are held fully accountable. I thank the NYPD for its swift response in apprehending the assailant,” she added. “My prayers are with the victims and their loved ones.” The stabbings come as hate crimes in New York City have continued to rise. According to NYPD data cited by The New York Times, the city had recorded 322 confirmed hate crimes through the beginning of July, an increase of nearly 8% from the same period last year. “Our public schools across the United States, serve families from diverse political, religious, and cultural backgrounds. Obviously Public schools should be politically neutral, but instead the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Learning for Justice program has been able to integrate their far-left content and materials into our public schools.” Parents should have trust in their children’s school curriculum. SPLC was indicted in April on federal fraud charges from a years-long alleged covert paid informant program that Justice Department officials said allocated millions of dollars in donations to a network of informants affiliated with or closely tied to white supremacist and neo-Nazi groups. In fact, one SPLC' top level official, namely Eden Heilman was recently accused by the U.S. Attorney's Office in Alabama of laundering the SPLC'S Donor's to the tune of 1.2-million dollars over that supposedly went to her livein boyfriend for what reason we do not know. ... but, what we do konw at this time is that a large portion of that 1.2-million dollars was funneled into a joint bank account that she shared with him. This trial is tentatively scheduled for October 5th, 2026. This is not the first time that the SPLC has been accused of mis-handling Donor Dollars, but it is first time that the Center has faced a Federal Trial.

The point of this article is that far-left Anti-Christian/Anti-American organizations like the SPLC should never again be allowed infiltrate into our Nation's Public School System and push any type of cultural, social or political agenda on to our offspring.

Approximately, 160,000 U.S. public school students miss school every day out of fear of being bullied. Many types of bullying occurring in schools today did not exist when we as parents and teachers were growing up. Students got threatened, teased and bounced around a bit, but this new type of bullying that I am talking about is occurring in “Cyberspace!” Cyberbullying is becoming more and more rampant in schools across America. Social networking has provided an entirely new environment for bullying to take place. According to bullying statistics coming out of the White House, in 2010, there were approximately 2.7 million students involved in cyberbullying activities either as the perpetrator or as the victim. Strangely, studies have actually shown that being a victim of cyberbullying can actually lead to the victims themselves becoming cyberbullies as a means of retaliation. In fact, revenge for bullying is one of the strongest motivations for school shootings, according to recent bullying statistics. Approximately, sixty percent of all students felt that the number one reason students shoot at one another at school is because they have been victims of physical violence in their home, communities and/or at school. Interestingly, a number of studies have also suggested that many students act out violently on their peers, teachers, school administrators and school staff personnel because they are abused at home. FACT: Over half of all public school students have witnessed a bullying crime take place while at school. FACT: Approximately fifteen percent of all students who do not show up for school report it to be out of fear of being bullied while at school. FACT: Over seventy percent of all public school students report bullying as an on-going problem. FACT: Nearly ten percent of students dropping out of school or changing from one school to another is due to repeated bullying. FACT: Five percent of all public school students have actually witnessed a fellow student on campus with a gun. FACT: Ninety percent of the bullying that is occurring in public schools throughout America occurs between fourth through eighth grades. FACT: Over fifty percent of all public school students reported that witnessing physical abuse at home can lead to violence in school. FACT: Sadly, homicide perpetrators were found to be twice as likely as homicide victims to have been physically abused by family members and/or peers during their early childhood and adolescent years. FACT: Over 280,000 Students are reportedly attacked on publicly funded school campuses in America each month. Suicide continues to be one of the leading causes of death among children under the age of fourteen. “Bullycide” is a new term used to describe suicide as the result of being bullied. Clinical studies out of the Yale School of Medicine have shown strong connections between bullying, being bullied and suicide. In fact, suicide rates for American public school students have grown more than fifty percent in the past thirty years. Bullying can include various types of behaviors from physical attacks, to destroying one's personal property or clothing, verbal abuse, starting rumors, name calling, verbal aggression online, as well as, other forms of cyberbullying. For students who feel they are being bullied, it is important for teachers, school counselors and school administrators to address the matter with a parent as soon as possible. Students need to be informed that telling on someone for doing something wrong is always the right thing to do. Students also need to know that in the majority of cases when a bully is reported, the bullying stops because the bully is faced with very serious repercussions.
