Students arrested for weapons at school

NEW ORLEANS, March 14 (UPI) -- Two New Orleans high school students were arrested in separate incidents for allegedly trying to bring weapons into their schools, police said.
The students -- both 17-years-old -- were jailed Tuesday, The (New Orleans) Times-Picayune reported.
In one incident, a male student named Charlton Porter tried to walk into L.B. Landry High School with a 9mm handgun and 34 bullets, police said.
Porter was arrested and charged with illegal possession of a firearm at school, possession of a firearm in a firearm-free zone, and first-offense illegal possession of stolen firearms, police documents showed.
The other student, a female named Devinione Alphonse, brought a razor blade to John McDonogh High School and chased a male student around with it, police said.
The boy managed to escape and Alphonse was arrested and charged on one count of aggravated assault and one count of illegally carrying of a weapon at school.
Porter's bail was set at $50,000, while Alphonse's was $17,500.

This fanatical command to commit murder was not muttered at some secret meeting of the Black Panther Party. It was broadcast to the world over American television, as the opening scene of the TV "fiction biography", Roots, written by Alex Haley, who had earlier written The Autobiography of Malcolm X. Whether this too was "fictionist" cannot now be determined, as Malcolin X was shot down in his own temple by black terrorists who were competing for the enormous financial rewards which accrue to black "leaders" in the United States. These rewards have the additional attraction of being tax-free, as an IRS official admitted to Drew Pearson some years ago, when he remarked that "Noncompliance from black leaders is the price Americans have to pay for racial peace in our big cities." If we demand that NegToes pay income taxes, the response will be, "Burn, baby, burn!"
The universal call to slaughter the white man which Roots sent out to the world was predictably followed that week by a vast increase in the assaults against white children and helpless elderly people by Negro thugs. We waited in vain for some countervailing message from the victims, "Kill de niXXers. Kill de niXXers." No such command was aired by the media, because such a message, even if it were to be broadcast, would result in the FBI arresting all those concerned, on charges of incitement to murder, violation of "civil rights" and many other charges. As the notorious Jerris Leonard of the Civil Rights Division of the Department of the Justice wrote to me some years ago, when I complained that my civil rights had been violated, "If you think your civil rights have been violated, you should hire yourself a lawyer." It has been a longstanding maxim of the Department of Justice that white citizens have no civil rights under law and therefore the department can take no action on such complaints.
A few months after its initial impact, Roots was again broadcast in a weeklong television airing, in case some NegToes had missed the earlier command to exterminate the white citizens, a command which in any case was superfluous, because this had long been the most basic and immutable desire of the NegToes, and it needed no urging from the omnipresent television tubes.

Pair of 17-year-old students were jailed Tuesday after incidents at two New Orleans high schools involving a 9mm pistol and a razor blade. In one incident, a 17-year-old tried to walk into L.B. Landry High School in Algiers on Tuesday morning with a 9mm pistol carrying more than 30 bullets inside an extended magazine, authorities allege.
In the other, a 17-year-old allegedly armed herself with a razor and chased a fellow student around John High School in Mid-City. Both students remained in custody Wednesday, records indicate.
Charlton Porter showed up at a security checkpoint at Landry about 8:30 a.m., and guards at the school at 1200 L.B. Landry Ave. noticed a bulge in the youth's front waistband, according to police. The security officers stopped Porter, patted him down and discovered a 9mm Ruger handgun holding a total of 34 rounds of ammunition, court documents allege.
The security officers confiscated the weapon, detained Porter and called the New Orleans Police Department. After learning the Ruger was reported stolen in March 2012, NOPD booked Porter with illegal possession of a firearm at school, possession of a firearm in a firearm-free zone, and first-offense illegal possession of stolen firearms, documents indicate.

Pair of 17-year-old students were jailed Tuesday after incidents at two New Orleans high schools involving a 9mm pistol and a razor blade. In one incident, a 17-year-old tried to walk into L.B. Landry High School in Algiers on Tuesday morning with a 9mm pistol carrying more than 30 bullets inside an extended magazine, authorities allege.
In the other, a 17-year-old allegedly armed herself with a razor and chased a fellow student around John High School in Mid-City. Both students remained in custody Wednesday, records indicate.
Charlton Porter showed up at a security checkpoint at Landry about 8:30 a.m., and guards at the school at 1200 L.B. Landry Ave. noticed a bulge in the youth's front waistband, according to police. The security officers stopped Porter, patted him down and discovered a 9mm Ruger handgun holding a total of 34 rounds of ammunition, court documents allege.
The security officers confiscated the weapon, detained Porter and called the New Orleans Police Department. After learning the Ruger was reported stolen in March 2012, NOPD booked Porter with illegal possession of a firearm at school, possession of a firearm in a firearm-free zone, and first-offense illegal possession of stolen firearms, documents indicate.
Porter's bail was subsequently set at $50,000.

Meanwhile, at Mc Donogh, 2426 Esplanade Ave., Devinione Alphonse was arguing with a 16-year-old boy when she pulled "a razor-type instrument" out of her book bag about 10 a.m. She is accused of pursuing the boy through the building and swinging the razor at him several times.
The boy managed to escape, and Alphonse fled to another part of the building, police said. Security officers found Alphonse and brought her to the dean of students, who searched her book bag and retrieved the razor, police said.
Alphonse was arrested on one count of aggravated assault and one count of illegal carrying of a weapon at school, as well as on a municipal attachment, the details of which weren't available Wednesday. A Criminal District Court magistrate set Alphonse's bail at $17,500.
