ICE’s immigration enforcement operations ramp up nationwide

My name is Mark Traina, and together with other members of the National Association for the Advancement of White People (NAAWP), we are launching this fundraiser to help immigrants in the United States who wish to return to their home countries safely and quickly. The NAAWP is an organization that welcomes and respects the rights of everyone who enters the United States, as long as they come into the U.S. legally. With recent government actions increasing the risk of detention and deportation, many undocumented immigrants are facing urgent and difficult choices. Our goal is to provide a safe and dignified way for those who want to leave the U.S. on their own terms to do so without fear or hardship. The funds raised will be used to cover all travel expenses for immigrants who need assistance, including plane, train, bus, or ship tickets. We will be reaching out directly to individuals who express a desire to return home, ensuring that support goes to those who need it most. We also encourage those we help to share their stories—why they came to the U.S., and why they now wish to return—so donors can see the real impact of their support.
