NAAWP to rally in protest of
Ferguson decision!

The NAAWP plan to rally Tuesday 12-02-2014 evening in
protest of the Ferguson Riots, as well as, recent assaults on White People in
the Greater St. Louis Area.

Thousands of mostly
black protesters demonstrated against a Missouri grand jury’s decision not to
prosecute a police officer for the shooting of a teenager on the steps of the
National Portrait Gallery on Nov. 25 in Washington.

The NAAWP chapter
in St. Louis plans a "Ferguson Whiteout" in support of the grand
jury's decision to not charge the white police officer that fatally shot a
black teenager in Missouri.

According to
news accounts, 18-year-old Michael Brown was unarmed when fatally shot Aug. 9
by Ferguson, Missouri, police officer Darren Wilson, 28.

The grand
jury's decision earlier this week set off protests across the nation, including
university campuses.

The national NAAWP
has been keeping a close watch on the activities in Ferguson, Missouri and
elsewhere. The NAAWP decision to Rally now is sparked by recent protests,
race-hate assaults on our white sisters and brothers, as well as, disruptions
at retail centers during Christmas holiday shopping season.

The St. Louis
Chapter of the NAAWP rally invites supporters to join Tuesday's gathering behind
the Court House on the corner of Canal Street and St. Claude Avenue. The event will
commence at 7 p.m., according to the NAAWP Facebook page.

Mark Traina,
president of the NAAWP, can be reached at (504) 231-3056.

A statement on
the group's social media page reads "we are filled with happiness, warm
comfort, and joy over this decision that the officer who shot and killed an
unarmed black man with his hands in the air remain free!"

The group calls
for generous donations for Officer Wilson, as he moves forward toward the next
segment of his life.

The "Ferguson
Whiteout" also urges participants to wear white clothing, along with
pointy white hats!
