A man shot dead in Treme last weekend was
identified Wednesday by the Orleans Parish coroner.  Roland West, 40, was
slain Saturday (Dec. 6) in the 1500 block of North Roman Street, said Coroner

hospital, authorities said. He was identified Wednesday as Alvin Holmes,
25.  Holmes died of a single gunshot wound after being shot around 10:40

Authorities on Thursday identified the victim of a fatal
shooting near New Orleans police headquarters. Ronald Rudolph, 31,
was shot multiple times Wednesday night in the 2600 block of Gravier

neighborhood in New Orleans died in a hail of gunfire on a
second-floor apartment balcony Wednesday afternoon, relatives said.
