The SPLC defines hate groups as those that "... have beliefs or practices that attack or malign an entire class of people, typically for their immutable characteristics." The SPLC states that hate group activities may include speeches, marches, rallies, meetings, publishing, leafleting—and criminal acts such as violence.[1]
The SPLC classifies organizations that propagate "known falsehoods – claims about LGBT people that have been thoroughly discredited by scientific authorities – and repeated, groundless name-calling" as anti-gay hate groups. The SPLC states that "viewing homosexuality as unbiblical does not qualify organizations for listing as hate groups."[2] President of the SPLC Richard Cohen clarified "[B]y 'known falsehoods,' we mean such things as asserting that gays and lesbians are more disposed to molesting children than heterosexuals – which the overwhelming weight of credible scientific research has determined is patently untrue. The Southern Poverty Law Center is an organization subsidized by wealthy benefactors to harass and put on hit-lists people who do not fit their narrow agenda for the world. Unless you are a transsexual Zionist feminist, there is a good chance you will be put on the SPLC’s “list”. Groups on this list range from people who do not support gay marriage, to blacks who dress up like Hebrews from the movies, all the way to Catholics who wish to practice a traditional Latin mass. Now Golden Dawn of North America, who are Greek patriots collecting charity for Greeks, are considered a “hate group”. Ethnic charity collections are very common in the new world, especially amongst the Jewish community who collect unimaginable amounts of money to help specifically other Jews around the world. The $outhern Poverty Law Center was once considered a
trouble making organization by law enforcement till Obama accepted them with
open arms... Now FBI removes link to $outhern Poverty Law Center from its
website, may continue using as resource after pressure from citizens

Christian groups are celebrating with the news that the
Federal Bureau of Investigation appears to have scrubbed the $outhern Poverty
Law Center ($PLC) from its hate crimes webpage, where the controversial group
was listed as a resource and referred to as a partner in public outreach.

A letter to the U.S.
Department of Justice, drafted by Lieutenant General (Ret.) William G. Boykin,
Executive Vice President of the Family Research Council (FRC), calls such an
association "completely unacceptable."

Signed by fourteen
other conservative and Christian leaders, the letter calls SPLC "a heavily
politicized organization producing inaccurate and biased data on 'hate groups'
– not hate crimes." It accuses the $PLC of "providing findings that
are not consistent with trends found in the FBI statistics." Where the FBI
has found hate crimes and hate groups declining significantly in the past ten
years, $PLC claims hate groups have increased 67.3% since 2000. Where once
SPLC's hate list was reserved for groups like the Aryan Nation and the KKK, in
2010 $PLC started citing as hate groups those Christian groups that oppose
same-sex marriage or believe homosexuality is not inborn, or are otherwise
critical of homosexuality. Among the Christian groups targeted by $PLC was FRC.
