OFFICIAL LOUISIANA BLOGGERS CLUB RESPONSE:
The CHARGES are BOGUS and the LBC are FORMALLY DEMANDING that every one of these FALLACIOUS CHARGES be DROPPED ASAP!
... and we don't mean "MAYBE"!
RAY has been CHARGED WITH the following MINOR OFFENSES!
1) 6-BOUGAS COUNTS of BRIBERY ($72,500 on one occasion and $50,000 on another)
2) 9-BOUGAS COUNTS of WIRE FRAUD
3) 4-BOGUS COUNTS of FILING FALSE TAX RETURNS
4) 1-BOGUS COUNT of CONSPIRACY of MONEY LAUNDERING
QUESTION: How TOTALLY BOGUS can these "CHARGES" be?
A 21-COUNT INDICTMENT don't mean $HYT, especially when you have GUYS like the fatuous1,  FAST EDDIE and GOOD OLE DOLLAR BILL backing you up!
The LBC will "NEVER EVER" allow one of our LIFE TIME MEMBERS to be TREATED so UNJUSTLY!
FACT: These BOGUS CHARGES are DEFINITELY RACIALLY MOTIVATED!
STATE PROSECUTORS falsely claim that NAGIN used his PUBLIC OFFICE to provide CONTRACTS for his FILTHY RICH FRIENDS in return for "SPECIAL FAVORS, KICKBACKS, EXOTIC VACATIONS, CASH and GRANITE!
NAGIN was just trying to make a LIVING SELLING a few "GRANITE COUNTER TOPS, taking a few "KICKBACKS", providing a few "UNDER-COVER SERVICES" and "VACATIONING in EXOTIC LOCATIONS"!
HELL, NAGIN didn't do half the $HYT that his PREDECESSOR, MARC MORIAL didn't do, and LOUISIANA DISTRICT ATTORNEY EDDIE JORDAN just let "MARC" WALK!
Two "JAIL BIRDS", Gregory Meffert, Nagin's chief technology officer and "MR. HIGH TECH" Mark St. Pierre have already cut deals with STATE PROSECUTORS to TESTIFY against RAY!
